The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate information but do not warrant completeness, reliability, suitability, or availability of the content.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BiblioWoods and staff are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the Service.
3. USER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide accurate, up-to-date information in your account.
- Use the Service lawfully and in compliance with intellectual property rights.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, distribute malware, or engage in automated scraping.
- Be respectful to other users - harassment, hate speech, and threats are prohibited.
4. CONTENT & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
User Content
- You retain uploaded content by you in your own dashboard, and have the future to select 'Anonymous' when adding a new book.
Site Content
- Site design, graphics, code, and trademarks are owned by or licensed to BiblioWoods.
- Unauthorized use of site materials is prohibited.
5. PROHIBITED USES
You may not use the Service to:
- Perform commercial redistribution or resale of content without written authorization.
- Harvest data or perform automated scraping or crawling without prior written consent.
- Infringe or facilitate infringement of copyrights or other rights.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or trade secrets.
6. SERVICE AVAILABILITY
We strive for reliable service but do not guarantee uptime. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features or the Service at any time. We recommend that users keep separate backups of any important or unique content (book notes, reading lists, uploads).
7. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BiblioWoods and its affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to your violation of these Terms, your use of the Service, or your breach of third-party rights.
8. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION
We maintain operations across jurisdictions and seek to respect local laws. To make the Service accessible and lawful for users in Canada, the EU, and the US, the following framework applies:
- Canada: For users located in Canada, the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada (as applicable) govern these Terms.
